Relaxed Oversized Full Zipper Kangaroo
Brushed or loopback cotton, warm the way wool is warm — it holds air rather than trapping it.
Black, a Ink shade. The deepest bath we run. Navy and charcoal sit in this family.
The heaviest cloth in the range. Loopback keeps an open structure through the wash cycle where brushed fleece flattens into felt.
Where there is a zip, it is metal on a cotton tape — the only component in the range that is not a fibre, left visible because it can be replaced rather than hidden.

02Construction
Past the joint by intention. The sleeve reads as part of the body.
Same yarn as the body, so they fade together rather than apart.
Taped across the back with a strip of the same jersey to stop the neckline growing.
03Size and fit
- Relaxed, with room for a mid-layer underneath.
- For a close fit, size down once. It will still be relaxed.
04Care
Cold, 30°C, inside out, with like colours.
Flat or on a line. A hot tumble dryer is the one thing that will shorten this garment's life.
Warm, on the reverse. Cotton takes a press; the rubber in the band does not.
Bleach, dry clean, or use fabric softener — softener coats the fibre and kills the absorbency you paid for.
05The fibre argument, in miniature
Polyester is polyethylene terephthalate — the same polymer as a drinks bottle, drawn into a filament fine enough to knit. It is cheap, it is strong, it dries fast, and roughly two thirds of all clothing made today is built from it.
Read in fullStaple length is how long an individual cotton fibre is before it is spun. Ordinary upland cotton runs around 26 mm. Extra-long-staple runs past 34 mm.
Read in fullCotton absorbs water and holds it. That is the whole limitation and everything else follows from it.
